Working with Unions Survey

Working with Trade Unions

Dear Colleague,

"Could the long period of peaceful industrial relations be coming to an end?"

Trade unions remain a force to be reckoned with, and in large organisations particularly they play an important role representing the interests of employees.

IRS Employment Review, the leading employment research organisation, is conducting a survey of trade union recognition arrangements. Completing this survey will entitle you to a free copy of the report containing:

  • A guide to the facilities offered by employers to allow workplace trade union representatives to better fulfil their role;
  • An analysis of how management and unions handle individual and collective disputes; and
  • An insight into the relationship between employers and trade unions from the HR perspective.

Confidentiality: the report of our findings will include information provided by you set against the name of the local authority. However, it will not name any individual.

Ethical research: this is a genuine research project being conducted by IRS, an employment research organisation, which was established more than 30 years ago. Your details will not be used for marketing purposes.

Please contact me, Sheila Attwood, by email or phone (direct line) 020 8652 2251 if you have any questions regarding this research.
